Miss Ali has danced from a very young age at Mandaleigh but was also trained by Miss Mary Forrester and Marie Clarke.
She studied Ballet, Tap, Modern and National dance as a child achieving good marks in examinations and competitions. She began to help at dancing from the age of 11, assisting with the baby classes. From the age of 15, Miss Ali began to help with the older children’s lessons thus gaining practical experience.
After completing secondary education, including taking Dance as a GCSE subject, Miss Ali attended St. Vincent College gaining an A in A Level Dance, Distinction* in Advanced Dance and Double Distinction Performing Arts. She then went on to Chichester College where she studied for and successfully completed her her D.D.I. ( Diploma in Dance Instruction) and D.D.E. (Diploma in Dance Education) in Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance at Chichester college. Whist attending Chichester College, Miss Ali also studied and achieved an apprenticeship in Exercise to Music. Her most recent qualification is gaining her Licentiate status.
Miss Ali continues to pass on her love of dance to all pupils at Mandaleigh and teaches Ballet, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre and Contemporary Dance classes.
